Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Technical Delivery Manager to lead and manage the delivery of AI/ML initiatives. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the successful design, development, deployment, and scaling of robust and production-ready ML solutions.

Base pay range

Salary range: Rs 3500000 - Rs 5500000 (INR 35-55 LPA)

Min Experience: 11 years

Location: Telangana, Hyderabad, Chennai

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for the AI/ML team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers, MLOps engineers, and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions
• Drive AI/ML architecture design, implementation, and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, engineering, infrastructure, data science) to transform requirements into production-grade AI/ML solutions for both batch and real-time use cases
• Act as the primary liaison between India and US stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, goal alignment, and smooth delivery
• Guide AI/ML engineers in aligning technical work with business outcomes, ensuring the development of optimal models for defined use cases
• Oversee day-to-day project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, quality standards, and processes
• Identify risks and proactively establish mitigation and contingency plans in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders
• Track delivery progress, provide clear reporting, and take ownership of client deliverables
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and research, identifying opportunities to implement new models and tools
• Propose and enforce best practices in AI/ML engineering, MLOps, and experimentation frameworks to accelerate scalable feature development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 12-15 years of professional experience, including 2+ years managing AI/ML initiatives with measurable business impact
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the US healthcare/health insurance domain
• Strong expertise in AI/ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning) and MLOps practices
• Proven track record of taking complex ML solutions from research/experimentation to production
• Hands-on experience with GCP or other major cloud platforms
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and innovation
• Strong risk management and process improvement mindset
• Ability to work across global teams, balancing technical delivery with business needs
