Job summary

Recooty is seeking a results-driven SEO/AI visibility specialist to own our presence across AI search platforms. Based in Jabalpur, you will run audits, identify sources cited by engines, and build plans to secure more citations.

You’ll manage listings on G2, Capterra and other directories, while coordinating outreach for “best ATS” roundups and industry features. You will work closely with the founders to implement structured data, improve crawlability, and optimize content for AI platforms,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in SEO, preferably B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on AEO/GEO work with demonstrable results.
• Experience with off-page SEO, digital PR or review platforms.
• Proficiency with Ahrefs or Semrush, plus Google Search Console.
• Strong written English for US/UK audiences.
• Evidence-based testing, measuring and reporting mindset.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly audits of AI search platforms for buyer-intent queries and report share of voice.
• Map third-party sources AI engines cite and plan placements in them.
• Manage and optimize presence on G2, Capterra, GetApp and software directories.
• Run outreach for inclusion in best-of lists and industry roundups.
• Build an authentic Recooty presence in Reddit, Quora and HR communities.
• Improve on-site AI readiness: structured data, crawlability, and entity consistency.
• Collaborate with content team to make blog posts and landing pages more citable.
• Track results using AI visibility tools, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

About Recooty

Recooty is an AI-powered applicant tracking system used by hiring teams in 25+ countries, with a strong focus on the US, UK/Europe and the Middle East. We are a product-first SaaS team based in Jabalpur, building tools that help companies hire faster and smarter.

About The Role

When a recruiter asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Overviews for the "best ATS for small businesses," we want Recooty in the answer. You will own Recooty's visibility across AI search platforms. You'll track where we appear today, find the sources these engines cite, and run the work that gets us cited more often. This is a hands-on role with direct access to the founders.

What you'll do

• Run weekly prompt audits across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overviews for buyer-intent queries, and report Recooty's AI share of voice against competitors
• Map the third-party sources AI engines cite for our category (listicles, review sites, Reddit, YouTube, comparison articles), and build a plan to earn placements on them
• Manage and optimize our presence on G2, Capterra, GetApp and software directories, keeping listings accurate and up to date with new features
• Run outreach for inclusion in "best ATS" roundups, comparison pages and industry publications
• Build an authentic presence for Recooty in Reddit, Quora and HR communities
• Improve on-site AI readiness: structured data, crawlability for AI bots, entity consistency, and comparison and alternatives pages
• Work with our content workflow to make blog posts and landing pages more citable
• Track results using AI visibility tools, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years in SEO, preferably B2B SaaS, with at least 6 months of hands-on AEO/GEO work you can show us
• A clear understanding of how AI search engines choose and cite sources
• Experience with off-page SEO, digital PR or review platform management
• Comfort with tools like Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console and at least one AI visibility tracker
• Strong written English suited to a US and UK audience
• A habit of testing, measuring and reporting rather than guessing

Nice to have

• Experience marketing to US buyers
• Familiarity with schema markup and technical SEO
• A portfolio of brands you've helped get cited in AI answers

Hiring process

Shortlisted candidates will complete a short practical task: audit how AI platforms answer one real buyer query, list the sources they cite, and outline a 30-day plan to get Recooty included.
