Job summary

Keyframe AI in Mumbai is seeking two filmmakers/editors who understand why a cut works and how pacing drives engagement. You’ll work with AI video tools to shape short films, micro-dramas, and brand videos, moving from script to final clip during a three-month internship with potential full-time progression.

You should have strong editing instincts, a film background is welcome but not required, and a passion to master AI as a storytelling tool in a fast, collaborative studio.

Responsibilities

• Take scripts from brief to finished clip during the internship and beyond.
• Rescue footage deemed unusable and test new models to find strengths and limits.
• Help shape the product by communicating user needs from power users’ perspective.
• Collaborate directly with the Studio Head on projects across formats.

Job description

Tools without taste make slop. Taste without tools stays in a drawer. Keyframe is where they come together.

Keyframe is a creative platform that brings the world's best AI video models into one place, built for people who make things. We're a small, serious team in Mumbai, and we're looking for two people who will become our most fluent users: the ones who know the tools better than anyone, and who use them in service of a story rather than a gimmick.

This is not a "prompt engineer" job. We're looking for filmmakers and editors first. You understand why a cut works, how a shot earns its place, and what makes an audience lean in. You've spent time in the timeline, and you have opinions about pacing. AI is the newest instrument in your kit, and you want to master it properly instead of chasing whatever went viral this week.

You'll work directly with our Studio Head on everything Keyframe puts into the world: short films, micro-dramas, brand work, product videos and the content that shows other creators what's possible. Some days you'll take a script from brief to finished clip. Other days you'll rescue footage someone thought was unusable, or test a new model until you know exactly where it shines and where it breaks. You'll also help shape the product itself, because power users know what a tool should do better.

What we're looking for:

• — Strong editing skills and a real eye for story, rhythm and frame. A film school background is welcome but not required; your work matters more than your degree.

• — Taste you can explain, along with the humility to take notes and the confidence to push back when you believe in something.

How it works: this role begins as a three-month internship. It's a genuine trial period on both sides, a chance for you to see whether Keyframe is where you want to build and for us to see how you work. Those who are a strong fit will move into a full-time role at the end of it.
