Job summary

Genmice Media seeks a freelance AI Video Editor to turn scripts into polished, vertical videos. You will generate AI images and clips, ensure consistency across scenes, and assemble final videos with narration, captions and music.

You will work on narrated true-story videos, science explainers, and short drama episodes, delivering high-quality outputs with tight revisions and adherence to deadlines. Remote, with flexible hours and regular weekly work.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of AI-generated videos (at least 3) with links
• Hands-on experience with two AI video tools (Veo 3, Kling, Seedance, Sora, Runway, Hailuo or similar)
• Experience with AI image tools (e.g., Nano Banana, Midjourney, ChatGPT image)
• Ability to write detailed, descriptive prompts and fix failed generations
• Strong editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong English reading and writing for USA audience

About Genmice Genmice Media creates video content for Facebook pages with a large and growing audience in the USA - true stories, science explainers and short drama series. We produce our videos with the latest AI tools, and we are building a small remote team of creative AI video editors.

About the role We are looking for a freelance AI Video Editor who can turn our scripts and prompt packs into polished, ready-to-post vertical videos. You will generate AI images and video clips, keep characters and scenes consistent from shot to shot, and edit everything into a finished video with narration, captions and music.

What you will work on

• Narrated true-story videos (3–7 minutes) built from many short AI clips
• Science explainer shorts (30–60 seconds) with realistic 3D anatomy and macro visuals
• Short drama episodes (1–3 minutes) with recurring AI characters

Your responsibilities

• Generate start images with tools like Nano Banana / Midjourney / ChatGPT image from our prompts
• Animate them into video clips with tools like Veo 3, Kling, Seedance or Sora
• Improve and adapt prompts when a generation fails (wrong action, morphing, extra fingers, text errors)
• Keep characters, outfits, locations and lighting consistent across all clips of a video
• Edit the final video in 9:16: trim clips to the voiceover, add burned-in captions, title cards, music and sound effects
• Check every frame for AI mistakes before delivery
• Deliver final MP4 files on time and make revisions based on feedback

How the work flows

1. You receive the script, voiceover (or voice text) and a prompt pack for each video
2. You generate the images and clips, then share a quick preview of the key shots
3. You assemble and edit the full video
4. You deliver the final video and make up to [2] rounds of revisions

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will do a short paid test: recreating a 20–30 second video from one of our prompt packs. The best candidates are then invited for a short interview. India-based candidates only.

Requirements

Must have

• A portfolio of at least 3 AI-generated videos you created yourself (links required)
• Hands-on experience with at least two AI video tools: Veo 3, Kling, Seedance, Sora, Runway, Hailuo or similar
• Experience with AI image tools: Nano Banana, Midjourney, ChatGPT image, Flux or similar
• Ability to write detailed, descriptive prompts (camera, lighting, action, style) and fix failed generations
• Good video editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve: cutting to voiceover, captions, audio mixing
• Good English reading and writing — our scripts and audience are in English (USA)
• A sharp eye for detail: spotting face changes, distorted hands, wrong text and continuity errors
• Reliability with deadlines and clear communication on WhatsApp / email
• Your own computer with a stable internet connection
• Based in India

Nice to have

• Experience with AI voice tools such as ElevenLabs
• Experience keeping AI characters consistent across many clips (reference images, start/end frames)
• Experience creating Reels or Facebook videos that performed well
• Basic motion graphics or animated captions
• Storytelling sense — knowing which shot makes the viewer keep watching
