Job summary

Tredence Inc. is seeking a highly experienced AI Trainer and SME to lead and scale our AI learning programs across ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. You will design and deliver instructor-led batches (VILT), run hands-on labs, create assessments, and serve as the core SME for capability building.

This role focuses on moving learners from AI awareness to applied proficiency, with responsibilities spanning curriculum design, mentoring, and program leadership across global cohorts.

Responsibilities

Position: Technical Trainer (AI Trainer)

Job summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced AI Trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and scale our AI learning programs across Classical Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. The role will be responsible for designing and delivering instructor‑led AI batches (VILT), conducting hands‑on labs and projects, creating assessments and certifications, and serving as the core SME for AI capability building across the organization.

This role is critical to moving learners from AI awareness to applied proficiency

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Virtual Instructor‑Led Training (VILT) sessions for AI programs across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels
• Deliver structured learning modules covering: Classical Machine Learning, Generative AI (LLMs, multimodal models, prompt engineering), Agentic AI systems (multi‑agent workflows, orchestration, autonomy)
• Facilitate interactive sessions including demos, labs, use‑case walkthroughs, and Q&A
• Act as the primary AI SME for learners, business stakeholders, and internal teams
• Provide expert guidance on: Model selection and trade‑offs, Architecture design for ML, GenAI, and agentic systems, Responsible AI, security, and ethical considerations, Support business‑aligned AI use cases and project implementation
• Design and deliver real‑world, hands‑on AI labs (cloud / notebook‑based)
• Create capstone projects aligned to business use cases
• Mentor participants through project execution and solution design
• Review project submissions and provide actionable feedback
• Design and manage: Knowledge assessments (quizzes, MCQs), Scenario‑based and applied assessments, Project‑based evaluations with rubrics
• Ensure assessments measure practical application, not just theory
• Support certification decisions and learner progression
• Collaborate with learning and program teams to: Design curriculum frameworks and learning paths, Refresh content based on latest AI advancements, reduce “theory‑only” learning by increasing applied depth, continuously improve learning effectiveness based on feedback and outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global and cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and facilitation capabilities
• Proven experience delivering VILT / instructor‑led technical training
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to varied audiences
• Strong storytelling using real‑world examples and demos
• Comfortable handling large cohorts and senior participants
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced functions, analysis) and PowerPoint (executive‑level presentations)
• Hands‑on experience with Power Apps and Power BI, including dashboarding and data visualization
• Educational qualification: MCA, M.Tech, BE, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in managing and delivering technical training programs in two or more of the following domains: Classical ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Cloud AI platform and AI development tools
• 3+ years of training, mentoring, or enablement experience
• Experience delivering AI training at enterprise scale is a strong plus
• Background in consulting, platforms, or large transformation programs preferred
