Job summary

SITA is seeking an AI Tech Lead to build and lead an AI capability for Aircraft, delivering practical AI solutions and driving adoption across the organization.

This hands-on leadership role blends technical execution with people leadership and business engagement. You will work with stakeholders to identify high‑value AI opportunities, translate them into production‑ready solutions, and establish reusable AI frameworks and accelerators to raise productivity and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, automation, or related technical fields.
• 3–5 years of experience with AI, Generative AI, AI automation, AI agents, copilots, LLMs, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Proven hands-on technical leadership experience in leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise delivering AI solutions from proof of concept through to production deployment.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, DevOps, and enterprise production environments.
• Strong understanding of AI security, governance, data management, and responsible AI principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through technology initiatives.
• Experience establishing or scaling an AI or Generative AI capability from the ground up.
• Experience implementing enterprise AI assistants, copilots, or intelligent agents.
• Experience integrating AI solutions into business processes and enterprise platforms.
• Background in automation, DevOps, IT operations, or service management.

Responsibilities

About The Role & Team

The AI Tech Lead will establish and lead SITA for Aircraft's AI capability by building a high‑performing team, delivering practical AI solutions, and driving AI adoption across the organization.

This is a hands‑on leadership role combining technical expertise, people leadership, and business engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify high‑value AI opportunities and convert them into scalable, production‑ready solutions that deliver measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, and automation.

As a key leader in the technology organization, you will drive the development of AI agents, copilots, automation solutions, and reusable AI capabilities while ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, reliability, and operational readiness.

What You'll Do

AI Delivery & Adoption

• Partner with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases with clear business value.
