Job summary

Hexaware Technologies in Navi Mumbai seeks a seasoned GenAI software engineer to develop and deploy GenAI applications, chatbots, and enterprise AI assistants. You will build RAG pipelines, handle data ingestion, embeddings, indexing and retrieval, and implement prompt workflows.

Strong Python and REST API skills are essential. Responsibilities include writing clean, scalable Python code; unit testing; debugging; and participating in CI/CD, deployments, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software development with strong Python expertise.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or similar frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases and embeddings.
• REST APIs and microservices development.
• Basic UI integration with HTML/CSS/React.
• Strong SQL and data processing with Pandas/NumPy.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Expert Python skills including TensorFlow, PyTorch, transformers.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable Python code; perform unit testing and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and production monitoring.

Additional Qualification:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / AI / related.
• 8+ years in software development with at least 3+ years building AI/ML applications.
• Expert Python skills, including frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, transformers libraries.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices (Flask/FastAPI).
• Proficiency with vector databases and embedding-based search systems.
