Job summary

Quantbot in Chennai, India invites a one-year, full-time consultant to join our research team under Prof. Mitesh Khapra.

You will work on tailoring ASR, TTS, and MT models for dialects and low-resource languages, bridging research and deployment across real-world platforms in agriculture, education, and livelihoods. You will collaborate with deployment teams, own evaluation pipelines (WER/CER, MOS, BLEU/ChrF/COMET) and contribute to production-facing improvements while receiving mentorship

Qualifications

• 1–3 years building or fine-tuning models.
• Real LoRA/QLoRA/adapter and full fine-tuning judgment.
• Depth in at least one of ASR, TTS, or MT.
• Strong Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face.
