Job summary

Canva is seeking a Hindi-language data labeling contractor in India to help scale multilingual AI features. You will label and evaluate media content for Hindi users, ensuring linguistic quality and cultural relevance.

You’ll build Hindi datasets and collaborate with Canva teams across the Philippines and EU to align quality and guidelines. This 12-month full-time role focuses on delivering accurate labelling work, adhering to guidelines, and adapting to evolving tasks in a fast-paced AI-enabled

What you\'d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that\'s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you\'ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Labelling, annotating, and evaluating photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs in Hindi — assessing linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness
• Evaluating AI-generated content against Canva\'s quality bar for Hindi users, helping shape how AI experiences land in your language
• Building and contributing to Hindi-specific datasets to support the internationalisation of Canva AI features
• Delivering labelled assets on time, meeting output targets across a variety of task types and labelling guidelines
• Reviewing and refining your own labels based on feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Collaborating with in-house Data Labelling teams across the Philippines and EU for ongoing quality alignment

About the team

Canva\'s Localisation team sits within the International Supergroup and is responsible for bringing Canva\'s product and AI experiences to users in their language, across the world. With international users representing almost 60% of Canva\'s user base, localisation is a core strategic priority. We partner closely with the CORE Research and AI Platform teams to deliver in-language AI evaluations, dataset creation, and quality assurance across Canva\'s pioneer markets.
