Job summary

Avisoft is seeking an AI QA Engineer to strengthen Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Generative AI and RAG-based systems. The role requires strong Java, Selenium, debugging and CI/CD skills, with an interest in GenAI-driven QA automation.

You will analyze pipeline failures, develop and maintain automated tests, and explore AI-assisted testing approaches. Collaboration with product teams and developers is essential to improve coverage and reliability of the automation framework.

Qualifications

• Java and Selenium WebDriver experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Ability to analyze CI/CD pipeline failures and debug tests.
• Knowledge of GenAI, LLMs and RAG workflows for AI-assisted testing.
• Strong QA fundamentals including test case design, execution and defect identification.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CI/JIT pipeline failures, find root causes and work with developers to fix recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Build and maintain AI‑assisted test case and test script generation, including RAG‑based QA workflows.
• Run POCs to evaluate new QA tools and technologies before adoption.
• Support product teams with automation scripts, and update them as the application changes.
• Automate repetitive testing activities and improve the reliability and coverage of the automation framework.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and product teams, and document test processes, frameworks and POCs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain AI‑assisted test case and test script generation, including RAG‑based QA workflows.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Test Automation: Java, Selenium WebDriver, functional and regression testing, building and maintaining frameworks, debugging failed tests.
• CI/CD: Analyzing pipeline failures and identifying whether the cause is the application, test script, infrastructure or pipeline configuration.
• AI / GenAI: Understanding of Generative AI and LLM applications, basic to intermediate RAG knowledge, interest in AI‑assisted testing.
• General QA: Test case design, execution and defect identification, with sound testing principles.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to investigate root causes independently.

GOOD TO HAVE

• RAG pipelines or AI agents, LLM APIs, Python or other scripting.
• Git/GitHub/GitLab; Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Postman or REST Assured; Docker and cloud-based test environments.
• Experience building internal QA tools or automation utilities.
