Job summary

ERM Placement Services seeks an experienced AI Policy & Governance Specialist to define and oversee our enterprise AI governance strategy. This role will drive responsible AI adoption by establishing governance frameworks, managing AI-related risks, and ensuring compliance with global regulations and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT GRC, strong knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT GRC, technology risk, cybersecurity governance, or compliance.
• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, AI risk management, and responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act.
• Conduct AI risk, compliance, and governance assessments across AI/ML models and third-party AI platforms.
• Define and enforce AI security, development, and deployment standards.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and Engineering teams to enable responsible AI adoption.
• Create reusable governance assets, compliance templates, risk matrices, and policy accelerators.

• Create reusable governance assets, compliance templates, risk matrices, and policy accelerators.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Law, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT GRC, technology risk, cybersecurity governance, or compliance.
• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, AI risk management, and responsible AI principles.
• Preferred certifications: AIGP, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 42001 Lead Auditor.
