Job summary

Beghou Consulting is seeking a Senior Platform & Security Engineer to own the AI infra layer, securing, configuring, and governing the platform that powers the firm’s internal AI tools and AI Lab. You’ll partner with AI Innovation, IT, Cloud Engineering, and Governance & Risk to enable rapid, responsible AI adoption across the business.

The role requires hands-on experience in cloud platforms, IAM, and security, with a focus on governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of platform engineering, security engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or IT engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and identity/access management (SSO).
• Experience with security reviews, audits, or compliance initiatives such as HIPAA or GxP is a plus.

Beghou is standing up an AI-native operating model: enterprise Claude and ChatGPT, a growing library of internal skills and tools, an MCP server ecosystem, an internal AI Lab site, and firm‑wide cost and governance obligations. Every one of these has an AI-specific platform, security, and configuration layer underneath it - managed policy files, connector and MCP governance, security reviews, token controls, admin and access management, deployment infrastructure.

This role owns that layer. It exists so the platform runs as managed infrastructure with a clear standard and owner as Beghou’s AI footprint scales.

This is a distinct profile from the AI builders on the team. Builders ship skills and automations. This person secures, configures, governs, and deploys the platform those skills run on.

We'll Trust you to:

• Manage enterprise configurations and governance for Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and future AI platforms
• Secure and govern our ecosystem of MCP servers, connectors, and AI integrations
• Evaluate new AI tools, agents, and capabilities through technical security reviews and risk assessments
• Build and automate the controls that translate governance policies into enforceable technical standards
• Own AI platform administration, including identity, access, permissions, and platform configuration
• Deploy, operate, and continuously improve the infrastructure that powers our internal AI tools and AI Lab
• Partner closely with AI Innovation, IT, Cloud Engineering, and Governance & Risk to enable rapid, responsible AI adoption across the business

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Are hands‑on with platforms and infrastructure. You're comfortable working across cloud platforms (Azure preferred), identity and access management, endpoint or configuration management, and policy-as-code. You enjoy building, configuring, and operating systems—not just designing them

• Enjoy creating what doesn't exist yet. You're energized by ambiguity, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, and excited by the opportunity to define standards and best practices as our AI platform continues to evolve

You'll need to have:

• At least 4 years of experience in platform engineering, security engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or IT engineering
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), identity and access management (SSO), and configuration or endpoint management
• Experience supporting or leading security reviews, audit activities, or compliance initiatives; exposure to HIPAA, GxP, or other regulated environments is a plus
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms, LLMs, AI agents, or MCP is highly desirable—but we're equally interested in candidates who can learn these technologies quickly
• Confidence partnering with Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams, IT, engineering teams, and external vendors to balance security, compliance, and innovation
