Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. z o.o. in Krakow is seeking a senior leader to head the global Engineering & Operations for the enterprise AI Platform.

You will drive design, integration, and operation of secure, scalable cloud-based services and guide multidisciplinary teams in solution architecture, infrastructure, automation, and operations. You will establish architecture principles, standards, and governance to enable reliable platform delivery and secure AI capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud platforms, solution architecture, platform engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing global platform architecture, integration, infrastructure, or operations teams.
• Strong expertise in designing and operating enterprise platforms leveraging PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, APIs, and cloud-native services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure technologies, AI platforms, API management, IaC, automation, and observability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the solution architecture, engineering, integration, operations, and long-term evolution of the enterprise AI Platform.
• Establish and govern platform architecture principles, technology standards, integration patterns, and operational frameworks.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle and operational accountability of enterprise AI platform services, capabilities, and model ecosystems.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, performance, resilience, and operational excellence across a global environment.
• Champion automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and modern engineering practices to ensure efficient and sustainable platform operations.
• Define and enforce platform security, governance, access control, and compliance standards with stakeholders.
• Lead the adoption and maturity of DevOps, MLOps, LLMOps, and AIOps capabilities for secure AI delivery.
• Oversee service management, incident response, change governance, release management, and operational risk mitigation.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global organization spanning platform solution architecture, cloud engineering, integration, automation, and operations.
• Partner with senior business, technology, cybersecurity, and vendor stakeholders to shape platform strategy and accelerate innovation.
