Job summary

LTM is seeking a Senior Performance Tester in Chennai to drive performance testing initiatives across applications. You will lead testing efforts, analyze bottlenecks, and coordinate with development and operations teams to ensure scalable, robust software.

The role requires hands-on scripting, test planning, and execution using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, plus experience with monitoring tools. Strong communication and leadership in an Agile environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing and knowledge in Performance Engineering.
• Experience in scripting and execution using at least two performance testing tools.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and lead a small team.

• Performance Testing - NFR Gathering (Log Analysis, User Interview, Reverse Engineering, NFR Documentation)

Key Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing and knowledge in Performance Engineering
• Gather requirements required for the project or application by working with stakeholders
• Develop Detail Performance Test Plan and give walkthrough to stakeholders
• Experience in scripting and execution skills using at least two performance testing tools: LoadRunner / Jmeter / NeoLoad or any other
• Worked in at least one Application Monitoring Tool: Dynatrace / NewRelic / Appdynamics or any other
• Coordinate with stakeholder teams to identify performance bottlenecks across all tiers, components, layers
• Strong oral and written communication skills; lead a team of 3 to 4 members
• Review scripts developed by team members and follow best practice
• Analyze and resolve critical and complex application issues like crashes, hung threads, memory leaks, etc.
• Prepare reports required within project: WSR MMR QBR
• Good knowledge of CICD pipeline tools like DevOps Jenkins and also in AI
• Worked in one other Non Functional Testing apart from Performance Testing (e.g., Chaos Engineering, Batch Performance, Failover testing, etc.)
• Performance monitoring experience across Windows and UNIX platforms with OpenView Sitescope, Wily or similar tools
• Ability to understand and analyze AWR reports or similar reports that help understand the root cause of Performance Issues
• Work both independently and within a group
• Good knowledge in Agile process and terminologies
