Job summary

ZettaMine!!! in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer (AI/Model Deployment) to design, train, and deploy advanced ML models for retail video use cases.

You will work in a hybrid setup (3 days from office) with cross-functional teams and cloud-based pipelines to deliver scalable AI solutions. The role requires 8+ years of software/ML experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on exposure to CNNs, Vision Transformers, and production APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, ML engineering, applied AI, or production ML systems.
• 3+ years hands-on experience building, training, fine-tuning, and deploying ML models in applied business environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate models such as CNNs, Vision Transformers, Object Detection, and Classification for video frame processing and tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable AI solutions for retail and enterprise applications.
• Implement and optimize ML pipelines using Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, and other cloud ML platforms.
• Develop APIs, services, and inference components (batch/streaming) for production systems.
• Ensure robust engineering practices including Git workflows, automated testing, code reviews, and containerization with Docker.
• Apply model optimization techniques (ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, quantization, batching) to improve performance.
• Work with event-driven architectures, REST APIs, message queues, and data lakes for scalable AI integration.
• Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and governance requirements for sensitive data.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with strong expertise in Python, applied AI, and model deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, fine-tuning, evaluating, and integrating advanced ML models particularly CNNs and vision architectures for real-world retail video use cases.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building, training, fine-tuning, and deploying ML models in applied business environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV.
• Experience in ML domains such as NLP, forecasting, classification, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, multimodal AI, or generative AI.
• Proven track record in building production-quality APIs and inference systems.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure ML, Azure AI services, Databricks, MLflow.
• Knowledge of distributed inference, real-time AI systems, and high-throughput event processing.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and metadata/event pipelines.
• Understanding of model deployment formats and optimization tooling.
• Exposure to governance frameworks for sensitive operational data.
