Job summary

Infomize Technologies is seeking an NLP/ML-focused professional to develop and improve NLP and machine learning solutions. You will prepare and label text data, train and fine-tune transformer-based models, and build prototypes for classification, information extraction, and semantic search.

You will support LLM/ Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, perform rigorous evaluation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into internal products and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/ML/DS or related field.
• Strong Python and data structures knowledge.
• Basic ML concepts including supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, overfitting, and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with NLP concepts: tokenization, stemming/lemmatization, text classification, NER, sentiment analysis, information extraction, semantic similarity, embeddings.
• Experience with ML/NLP libraries: Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, NLTK or spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of transformer models (BERT, T5, GPT-style) or similar architectures.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLMs, and generative AI applications.
• Ability to clean, preprocess, label, and analyze text datasets.
• Knowledge of NLP evaluation metrics: precision, recall, F1, accuracy, BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity.
• Basic REST APIs knowledge and integrating models into applications.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to read technical docs and papers; good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn new tools, models, and AI practices.

• Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems.
• Exposure to LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with data annotation, dataset quality validation, and model error analysis.
• Basic understanding of SQL, databases, Linux, Docker, and cloud platforms.
• Experience deploying models using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.Familiarity with experiment tracking and model versioning tools.
• Knowledge of responsible AI principles, including bias, privacy, security, and model hallucination management.
