Job summary

AiVantage Inc (Global) in Gujarat invites a junior AI/Automation Engineer to build Python-based automation, REST APIs, and backend services using FastAPI or Django, integrating LLM APIs and NLP components.

You will collaborate with AI, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams; work on Playwright-based web automation, data extraction, and document processing while maintaining clean, scalable code and documentation.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in software development, automation, RPA, AI, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar web automation frameworks.
• Basic experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, HTML, and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party services.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.

Job description

• Strong fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
• Good understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models)
• Knowledge of Generative AI
• Understanding of Prompt Engineering
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings and vector databases
• Understanding of NLP and Transformer architecture
• Exposure to LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, etc.
• Ability to experiment with and evaluate AI/LLM models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Develop and maintain Python-based web automation using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Build backend applications and REST APIs using FastAPI and/or Django.
• Develop AI-powered solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, OCR, and document processing.
• Integrate AI/LLM services and APIs into backend and automation workflows.
• Automate web-based business processes, including data extraction, file downloads/uploads, and report processing.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable Python code.
• Schedule, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation jobs.
• Work with AI, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.
