Job summary

Hungama is seeking AI + Live Action Post-Production Artists to blend real footage with AI-generated content across fiction, non-fiction, music videos and branded content. You will oversee editing, AI generation, enhancement and finishing to deliver seamless final content.

You will collaborate with producers, writers and directors to understand creative intent, identify AI augmentation opportunities and maintain visual continuity across shots.

Qualifications

• Strong eye for framing, lighting and color.

Responsibilities

• Edit content blending live-action, AI footage, VFX and stock assets.
• Collaborate with producers, writers, directors and AI artists.

Job description

Were looking for AI + Live Action Post-Production Artists who can bring together the best of both worlds real footage and AI-generated content.

We’re exploring new ways of creating fiction, non-fiction, music videos, branded content and short-form stories by combining live-action production, generative AI, VFX and traditional post-production.

You will work across the post-production process from editing and compositing to AI generation, enhancement, clean-up and finishing to create seamless final content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and finish content combining live-action footage, AI-generated footage, VFX, stock and other visual assets.
• Work with creative producers, writers, directors and AI Artists to understand creative intent.
• Identify opportunities where AI can enhance, replace or extend live-action footage.
• Create AI-generated shots/assets and integrate them naturally into the edit.
• Work on set extensions, environment creation, background replacement, object removal and crowd generation.
• Enhance and fix live-action footage using AI tools.
• Maintain visual continuity across live-action and AI-generated shots, including characters, faces, lighting, colour, scale, camera movement and environments.
• Edit sequences with a strong understanding of story, pacing, emotion and cinematic language.
• Handle compositing, masking, rotoscoping, tracking and VFX requirements.
• Use AI for generative fill, image/video generation, upscaling, restoration, frame interpolation, lip-sync, background replacement and video enhancement.
• Work with sound, music, dialogue, VO, SFX, titles and graphics through final delivery.
• Deliver content in multiple formats.
• Experiment with emerging AI tools and workflows to improve production efficiency and creative quality.

What We're Looking For

• Strong video editing skills and understanding of storytelling, pacing and continuity.
• Experience with AI image/video generation tools.

• Strong visual judgement around framing, composition, lighting, colour and movement.
• Excellent attention to detail when integrating AI-generated content with live footage.
• Understanding of colour correction and basic grading.

• Strong visual problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work quickly, iterate and meet production deadlines.
