Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an AI Experience (UX) Designer to join the Operations team in India. The role is onsite, primarily based in a HPE office, and focuses on designing AI-assisted workflows and enterprise experiences.

You will work with business and technology stakeholders to create intuitive experiences, ensuring accessibility and responsible AI principles are embedded in design processes. 8+ years of experience and a graduate education are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate education, with broad UX capability.
• 8+ years of experience in UX/design roles.
• Experience designing enterprise/workflows and conversational interfaces.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Understanding WCAG and inclusive design practices.
• Ability to prototype, test, and iterate with stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, discovery, and storytelling skills.
• Design for AI transparency and human-in-the-loop workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, journey mapping, interviews, and usability tests.
• Design AI-assisted workflows and conversational interfaces.
• Create employee and partner experience journeys across processes, tools, data, and AI.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, service blueprints, and design standards.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into simple user experiences.
• Collaborate with architects, product and delivery leads, and tech teams.
• Support accessibility initiatives and responsible AI UX principles.
• Iterate prompts and workflows based on adoption and usability feedback.

What you will do:

• Conduct user research, journey mapping, interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions to understand user needs, friction points, and workflow opportunities.
• Design AI-assisted workflows, conversational experiences, prompts, interaction patterns, and prototypes that improve usability and productivity.
• Create employee and partner experience journeys that connect business processes, tools, data, and AI capabilities.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, service blueprints, design concepts, and experience standards using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Apply design thinking and service design methods to translate complex process and AI capabilities into simple user experiences.
• Collaborate with business architects, product/delivery leads, technology teams, and adoption leads to ensure experience design is integrated into solution delivery.
• Support accessibility, inclusive design, WCAG alignment, and responsible AI user interaction principles.
• Continuously gather feedback and improve prompts, workflows, and user experiences based on adoption and usability insights.

• 8+ experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design background.
• Experience designing enterprise workflows, employee experiences, partner experiences, or conversational interfaces.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG, and inclusive design practices.
• Ability to prototype, test, and iterate user experiences quickly with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, user research, journey mapping, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to design for AI transparency, user trust, prompt quality, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
