Job summary

ScaleX is seeking a skilled AI software engineer to build and maintain AI-powered applications and automation workflows in India. You will develop agentic AI workflows for business use cases, build RAG-based apps with vector databases, and write clean Python code.

You will integrate AI solutions with internal and third-party APIs, test and optimize applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI features.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and software development fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, APIs, debugging, and system design.
• Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and workflows (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
• Ability to review, debug, and modify AI-generated code.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Basic understanding of Git and REST APIs.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
