Job summary

Sandhata Technologies is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize AI-powered applications using modern code generation tools, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

You will work with Spec Kit and testing strategies to ensure reliability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI code generation and agentic frameworks.
• Experience building AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Agentic RAG.
• Proficiency in Python and LLM integration, embeddings, and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-enabled applications using AI coding assistants and agentic frameworks.
• Build, customize, and optimize AI agents for complex business workflows.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize AI-powered applications using modern code generation tools, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows, agentic frameworks, and robust software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-enabled applications using modern AI coding assistants and agentic frameworks.
• Build, customize, and optimize AI agents for complex business workflows.
• Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic RAG solutions.
• Integrate vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval pipelines to improve AI application performance.
• Leverage AI code generation tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Implement property-based testing and automated testing strategies to ensure application reliability.
• Work with specification-driven development frameworks (such as Spec Kit or similar) to build maintainable, scalable software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI frameworks, libraries, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with AI code generation tools such as Kiro, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or GitLab Duo.
• Experience with Spec Kit or similar specification-driven development frameworks.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Property-Based Testing.
• Experience building and deploying AI Agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Agentic RAG.
• Experience working with RAG libraries and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or similar languages.
• Familiarity with LLM integration, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
