Job summary

Papigen is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to establish and drive AI-first practices across multiple OutSystems teams. You will set standards, libraries, and governance to ensure secure, scalable AI-enabled delivery.

The role combines hands-on AI-assisted delivery with strong OutSystems architecture, quality gates, human review controls, CI/CD gates, and coaching to elevate engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years of OutSystems experience.
• Hands-on AI-assisted delivery using agentic coding tools.
• Expert practical experience with Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor in OutSystems projects.
• Experience defining and implementing AI engineering standards for a team or multiple teams.
• Experience establishing code-review standards, quality gates, and Definition of Done for AI output.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration and automated quality checks.
• Experience coaching developers and driving engineering adoption of new tools or practices.
• Ability to measure AI adoption, productivity, rework, and defects using delivery metrics.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• At least 1.5 years of hands‑on AI-assisted delivery using agentic coding tools.
• Expert practical experience with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, preferably within OutSystems projects.
• Experience defining and implementing AI engineering standards for a team or multiple teams.
• Experience establishing code‑review standards, quality gates, and Definition of Done requirements for AI-generated output.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration and automated quality checks.
• Experience coaching developers and driving engineering adoption of new tools or practices.
• Ability to measure AI adoption, productivity, rework, and defects using meaningful delivery metrics.
• Understanding of secure AI-assisted development and alignment with organizational AI policies.

Preferred Skills

• OutSystems MCP integration and Model Context Protocol.
