Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, and modify computer vision and machine learning algorithms and models, leveraging experience with technologies such as Caffe, Torch, or TensorFlow.
• Shape product strategy for highly contextualized applied ML/AI solutions by engaging with customers, solution teams, discovery workshops, and prototyping initiatives.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of a high-impact ML/AI team.
• Engage with the broader ML/AI community through research, speaking/teaching, collaborations, etc.

Knowledge & Abilities:

• Designing integrations of and tuning machine learning & computer vision algorithms.
• Research and prototype techniques for object detection and recognition, CNNs for image classification and detection.
• Familiarity with Embedded Vision Processing systems, open-source tools & platforms.
• Statistical Modeling, Data Extraction, Analysis.
• Construct, train, evaluate, and tune neural networks.

Mandatory Skills:

• One or more of the following: Java, C++, Python, Deep Learning frameworks such as Caffe, Torch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, Clarafai, Google Cloud Vision.
• Experience with supervised & unsupervised learning, feature learning, text mining, prediction models (deep learning, collaborative filtering, SVM, random forest).
• Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, HIVE, Tableau).

Experience:

• 2-5 years in Machine Learning or AI, applying algorithms to real-world problems with large datasets.
• Building scalable ML systems, working with cross-functional teams, cloud services (AWS, Microsoft, IBM, Google Cloud).

Nice to Have:

• Contributions to research communities, publishing papers at conferences like NIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR.

Education:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
