Job summary

Augle AI in Pune invites an enthusiastic intern to help architect and deploy backend services using FastAPI and to orchestrate web scraping workflows with Playwright.

You will build data pipelines for ML readiness, contribute to retrieval-augmented generation systems, and tune API integrations with OpenAI and Gemini. Internship pays a stipend and can convert to full-time.

Qualifications

• This internship targets students pursuing or having completed a CS/Software Eng degree.
• Strong Python experience with FastAPI is required.
• Experience with Playwright for browser automation and data extraction is expected.
• Familiarity with data cleaning, normalization, and pipelines.
• Knowledge of RAG concepts and language model agents is a plus.
• Experience with at least two of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Neo4j.
• Familiarity with REST API design, Git, and containerization or cloud deployment.
• Desire to learn quickly in a lean, fast-moving team.

About the role

• Architect and deploy backend services and APIs using FastAPI to support core product functionality
• Orchestrate web scraping and browser automation workflows with Playwright to gather and pipeline data at scale
• Construct and refine data processing pipelines that cleanse, validate, and transform raw information for machine learning systems
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and autonomous LLM-based agents that drive intelligent decision-making
• Tune integrations with OpenAI and Gemini APIs to maximize performance and cost efficiency
• Architect and oversee database layers across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Neo4j depending on data shape and query patterns
• Produce well-structured, thoroughly tested code alongside clear technical specifications and runbooks

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
• Solid grasp of Python with demonstrated experience building systems in FastAPI
• Track record working with Playwright for browser-level automation and data extraction tasks
• Exposure to data cleaning, normalization, and pipeline construction
• Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation concepts, language model agents, and prompt design
• Practical experience or strong familiarity with at least two of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Neo4j
• Comfort with REST API design principles, version control using Git, and containerization or basic cloud deployment
• Hunger to absorb new patterns quickly and thrive in a lean, rapidly evolving team
