Job summary

Beyond Technologies is seeking an intern to craft and enhance agent frameworks for compliance investigations. You will implement LLM-driven components for data extraction, categorization, and analytical reasoning, and generate artificial datasets to validate performance.

You will monitor recent agentic AI research and apply advances to live systems, including memory enhancements and learning mechanisms for agents, while training ML models focused on compliance problems.

Qualifications

• Solid Python skills and hands-on ML libraries experience.
• Familiarity with large language models and agent-based frameworks.
• Self-directed and able to solve problems with minimal oversight.
• Clear writing and presentation abilities; able to document decisions well.
• Background in ML, NLP, or distributed systems through coursework or projects.
• No requirement for compliance/financial services background.

About the role:

• Create and enhance agent frameworks built for compliance-related investigations.
• Implement LLM-driven components for data extraction, categorization, and analytical reasoning.
• Produce artificial datasets to validate and test agent performance.
• Build measurement systems that assess how well agents reason through tasks and extract information accurately.
• Keep detailed records of how agents behave, what evaluation metrics show, and the reasoning behind technical choices.
• Monitor recent developments in agentic AI research and apply emerging methods to live systems—such as improved context handling, persistent memory capabilities, and learning mechanisms for agents.
• Train and adapt machine learning models tailored to compliance-specific problems.

What we're looking for:

• Solid Python skills and hands-on experience with machine learning libraries.
• Familiarity with or enthusiasm to learn about large language models and agent-based frameworks.
• Self-directed approach to work; able to identify and solve problems with minimal oversight in a lean environment.
• Clear writing and presentation abilities; you can articulate technical work and document decisions well.
• Background in machine learning, natural language processing, or distributed systems through coursework or personal projects (helpful but not mandatory).
• No compliance or financial services background expected.
