Job summary

ClickPost is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to help bring AI ideas and internal automations into production systems used across logistics and e-commerce operations at scale. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams on AI systems for workflows and analytics, building AI copilots and evaluation frameworks.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and real-world problems, shipping fast from prototype to production with mentorship from seasoned PMs and data

Qualifications

About the Role:

• We’re looking for an AI Engineer Intern who can help bring AI ideas, internal automations, and local prototypes into production systems used across logistics and e-commerce operations at scale.
• At ClickPost, we process millions of shipment events and power logistics operations for leading e-commerce brands. We’re now building AI-first systems across recommendations, support, operations, analytics, onboarding, and delivery intelligence.

What you’ll work on:

You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams on AI systems across logistics workflows.

Projects may include:

• Creating a flexible workflow automation tool
• Implementing LLM-powered decision making across workflows
• Building rigorous evals framework
• Improving ClickPost's analytics chatbot
• Setting up ClickPost MCP servers
• Developing smart alerting and monitoring system
• Converting internal AI experiments and scripts into production-ready services
• Building AI copilots for operations, support, onboarding, and analytics
• Creating internal search systems across logs, dashboards, configs, and documentation
• Building AI agents for debugging, RCA generation, and operational workflows
• Prompt engineering and feedback loops
• RAG systems on logistics and operational data
• Integrating with existing ClickPost tools and dashboards

You will work on:

• Python

What we are looking for:

Must Have:

• Built and deployed full-stack applications written by AI
• Built and deployed self-written full-stack applications (any tech stack)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agents
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Comfort with APIs, backend systems, and tech jargon
• Familiarity with cloud deployment
• Built eval frameworks for AI workflows
• Ability to independently ship projects (take an idea from "works on my laptop" to "running in prod")
• Deep understanding of customer pain points

• Product and design knowledge
• RAG pipelines / embeddings knowledge
• Prior 3rd-party open-source work
