Job summary

Zodiac HR Consultants is seeking a skilled AI/ML backend engineer to design and deploy Generative AI systems. You will work on Python-based solutions, LLM workflows, and scalable backend services, collaborating with frontend teams and stakeholders.

You should have strong Python development, API integration, problem solving, and the ability to own technical components end-to-end, with effective communication and mentoring across the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using Python.
• Build applications using LLMs, RAG, AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows.
• Develop scalable backend services using FastAPI, Flask, Django or similar frameworks.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and Vector Databases.
• Implement LLM tool/function calling and AI workflow integrations.
• Work with Redis, Docker and Cloud platforms.
• Contribute to frontend development/integration using React.js, Next.js, Angular or equivalent technologies.
• Handle deployment, debugging and production troubleshooting.
• Follow Git, SDLC and software engineering best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned technical components and contribute to technical design and architecture.
• Support and mentor team members whenever required.
