Job summary

RecruitBots AI in Kolkata is seeking an AI Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications that address real-world problems.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and AI teams to implement ML and Generative AI capabilities, integrate with backend services, and ensure reliable production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered applications using modern AI models, frameworks, and APIs.
• Develop and implement machine learning solutions for real-world business problems.
• Build applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), foundation models, and Generative AI technologies.
• Develop AI agents and automated workflows to handle multi-step tasks.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer with 1–3 years of experience who is passionate about building, integrating, and deploying AI-powered applications to solve real-world problems.

You will work closely with our engineering, product, and AI teams to develop intelligent applications, integrate machine learning and Generative AI capabilities, and improve the performance and reliability of AI systems.

The role provides exposure to multiple areas of AI development, including Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), NLP, and AI automation.

• Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, or similar technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with SQL and databases.
• Exposure to AI evaluation, automated testing, and model performance monitoring.
• Experience building and deploying AI or machine learning projects.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
