Job summary

YipitData is seeking an AI Engineer to lead development, training, and fine-tuning of ML models on large, diverse datasets. You will preprocess data, build scalable pipelines, and optimize models for performance in production environments.

You will collaborate with software engineers on end-to-end deployment, stay current with NLP/LLM advances, and contribute to ethically grounded AI practices. The role is fully remote, India-based, and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• 3–4 years of relevant hands-on work experience; strong ML fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, training, and fine-tuning of ML models.
• Work with large datasets: cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering for high-quality training data.
• Implement and optimize deep learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Support R&D of AI applications in NLP, LLMs, and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy AI models into production environments.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and improve model accuracy, efficiency, latency, and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.

As Our AI Engineer, You Will:

• Implement and optimize deep learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Support research and development of AI applications in natural language processing (NLP) , large language models (LLMs) , and predictive analytics .
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy and integrate AI models into production environments, including model-integrated API services.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results , and enhance model accuracy, efficiency, latency, and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning .

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of relevant hands-on work experience
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and deep learning models.
• Hands-on experience with Python and AI frameworks ( TensorFlow or PyTorch ).
• Familiarity with data processing libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and regular expressions .
• Understanding of model evaluation techniques and performance metrics .
• Experience with model training, fine-tuning, and experimentation .Familiarity with NLP and LLM applications .

Bonus Points If You:

• Experience with NLP and LLM frameworks (Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy).
• Exposure to cloud AI services (AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI).
• Knowledge of MLOps practices , including CI/CD for ML models.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, bias detection, and model interpretability .
