Job summary

Alignity Solutions, Hyderabad, is seeking an experienced AI Data Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize secure, scalable Generative AI and data pipelines. You will work on LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, RAG, vector search, and cloud data platforms, building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines and production-grade services in Python.

You will design and deploy AI capabilities, ensuring data privacy and governance in collaboration with stakeholders, and leverage tools like

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Generative AI and large language model concepts.
• Hands-on experience developing LLM-based applications.
• Prompt engineering and templates; Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• AI agent development and multi-step agentic workflows.
• Strong Python programming and data engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AI data solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Develop LLM applications for analytics and reporting using prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
• Build AI agents that retrieve enterprise data and coordinate multi-step workflows with guardrails and oversight.
• Integrate foundation models, enterprise data platforms, APIs, and workflow orchestration tools.
• Develop data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across data lakes and warehouses and maintain serverless cloud architectures.

The successful candidate will combine strong AI engineeringcapabilities—including large language models, prompt engineering,retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, AI agents, and LLMOps with asolid foundation in Python, advanced SQL, databases, and cloud-based dataengineering.

The candidate should be also be able to work in establishing data pipelines andengineering—from data ingestion and preparation, to data modeling, deploymentand monitoring.

• Design,build, and operate secure, scalable, production-grade Generative AI, agenticAI, and cloud data solutions for analytics and reporting.
• DevelopLLM applications for analytics and reporting using prompt engineering,retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, structuredoutputs, tool calling, function calling, fine-tuning, and model routing.
• BuildAI agents that retrieve enterprise data, use approved tools and APIs,coordinate multi-step workflows, and operate within defined guardrails andhuman oversight.
• Integratefoundation models, AI agents, enterprise data platforms, APIs, workfloworchestration tools, document repositories, and reporting applications.
• DevelopAI capabilities such as natural-language querying, conversational analytics,automated summaries, intelligent recommendations, anomaly detection, narrativereporting, and workflow automation.
• Design,develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructureddata across data lakes, warehouses, and lake houses.
• Designserverless, event-driven, and cost-efficient cloud architectures using aprimary cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Developdata models, data-quality frameworks, validation rules, metadata, lineage, andreusable data products.
• Buildproduction-grade services using Python, SQL, APIs, CI/CD, automated testing,infrastructure as code, and observability practices.
• Applyresponsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, access control,content safety, prompt-injection protection, and prevention of sensitive-dataleakage.
• DeployAI solutions using services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, AzureOpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI APIs, vector databases, andenterprise search platforms.
• Developand orchestrate data workflows using AWS Glue, Glue Workflows, AWS Lambda, StepFunctions, Amazon S3, Athena, Redshift, and Amazon RDS.
• Partnerwith data, technology, and business stakeholders to translate requirements intodata models, AI features, visualizations, and actionable insights.
