Job summary

Formee Holdings is seeking an AI Engineer (preferably from IITs) to drive design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered solutions across our products and platforms. You will lead the technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams to translate ambitious ideas into production systems.

Expect hands-on work with Python and AI/ML frameworks, building production-grade AI solutions using OpenAI, LangChain, and modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of AI space experience.
• 3-5 years of overall software experience, preferably from IITs.
• Lead role experience of at least 1 year.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years into AI space

SPECIFICATION: From IITs with overall 3-5 years' experience

We are looking for AI Engineer (preferably from IITs) to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered solutions across our products and platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams
• Drive best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment
• Mentor a team of software engineers

AI & Product Development

• Build and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions leveraging modern frameworks and LLMs
• Design and implement scalable architectures including RAG pipelines, AI agents, and intelligent workflows
• Develop AI-powered applications using OpenAI, Azure AI, and emerging AI platforms
• Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features

Platform & Infrastructure

• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and full-stack applications (React, Node.js)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability in production systems
• Stay current with GenAI trends and rapidly evolving technologies
• Drive POCs and introduce innovative AI-driven solutions into the product ecosystem
• Drive technical design, architecture decisions, and end-to-end delivery of scalable systems
• Conduct code reviews and guide best practices across development teams
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement

Preferred Requirements

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year(s) experience in lead role
• Strong hands-on experience in Python and AI/ML frameworks
• Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI application architecture
• Proficiency in APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
• Exposure to GenAI, AI agents, and MLOps practices
• Experience with vector databases and AI observability tools
