Job summary

XCaliber Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to design and build intelligent agents for real-time healthcare applications. The role focuses on scalable agentic workflows, memory, multi-modal tools, and knowledge retrieval systems to enable autonomous decision making.

You will work with LangChain/LangGraph, vector stores, graph databases and distributed systems tooling to deliver robust, observable AI platforms while supporting data ingestion pipelines for clinical data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AI engineering or相关 roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Node.js for building AI agents.
• Experience with LangChain or LangGraph and vector/graph storage.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and orchestration tools.

• Engineer robust ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured clinical data to prepare it for agent consumption.

What You Will Work On

• Design and build intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows for real-time healthcare applications at scale.
• Develop and maintain core platform components such as agent memory, multi-modal tools, MCPs, prompt modules and knowledge retrieval systems.
• Implement and refine agent evaluation and observability frameworks for performance tuning and adaptability.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Go, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph
• Experience integrating agents with - Vector databases (e.g., FAISS, OpenSearch), Graph stores (e.g., Neo4j) & Analytical storage systems (e.g., Apache Iceberg)
• Familiarity with distributed systems and orchestration tools such as Ray and Temporal.
• Experience in building hybrid retrievers and query engines to handle large-scale analytical and semantic queries.
