Job Summary

Use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank’s data reserves, leverage these insights to inform strategic decision‑making, improve operational efficiency and drive innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, extract and clean data from internal and external sources.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for automated acquisition and processing.
• Design and conduct statistical and machine learning models to analyze patterns, trends and relationships.
• Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to add value from data through Data Science.
• Lead and coach a team on complex tasks and deliver impactful work across the business function.
• Engage in complex analysis of data, communicate findings, and influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong background in AI/ML concepts and architectures, experience deploying ML models in production.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services for AI workloads (S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python or Java, knowledge of software engineering best practices, CI/CD and microservice architecture.
• Experience integrating AI systems into existing platforms, familiarity with data engineering pipelines, databases and APIs.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, encryption, access control and audit logging for financial data.
• Proven team leadership and mentorship in AI or software innovation projects.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking, ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
• Experience with model risk management and AI ethics in financial services.

The role is based in Pune.
