Job summary

Demetrius Technologies seeks a hands-on AI engineer to design and deploy agentic AI systems and Python automation platforms for enterprise finance workflows. You will build production-grade AI agents, integrate with ERP/SAP, and champion secure, scalable deployments.

You will work with FastAPI, LangChain, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, and vector databases to create autonomous AI agents and data pipelines. Strong Python, SQL, and API skills are essential, along with experience in RAG, multi-agent

Qualifications

• Proven Python software engineering experience and building production-grade applications.
• Experience with REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Strong SQL and database experience; ETL/data pipelines.
• Experience with distributed systems and Generative AI.
• Hands-on with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and OpenAI/Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Experience with vector databases: Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma.
• Experience building autonomous or multi-agent AI systems; prompt engineering.

Job description

• Our client is building next-generation AI-native Finance platforms leveraging Generative AI and Agentic AI to autonomously execute, optimize, and augment enterprise finance operations.
• This role will directly contribute to developing production-grade AI agents, intelligent automation systems, and enterprise-scale financial AI platforms.

Role

• Mission Design and deploy enterprise-grade Agentic AI systems and Python automation platforms capable of autonomously executing finance workflows, supporting decision-making, and transforming manual operations into intelligent, self-optimizing systems.
• Core Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

Engineering Foundation:

• Strong Python software engineering experience
• Experience building and deploying production applications
• REST API development (FastAPI / Flask preferred)
• Strong SQL and database experience
• Experience building scalable ETL/data pipelines
• Exposure to distributed systems Generative AI

Agentic AI (Hands-on Mandatory):

• Strong experience implementing RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs / Azure OpenAI

Experience with at least one framework:
