We're an early-stage practice helping small and mid-sized businesses (retail, clinics, production houses, service businesses, and more) automate the manual, repetitive parts of running day-to-day operations - client management, follow-ups, internal and external task tracking, invoicing, and reporting. We work directly with business owners to identify what's eating their time, then design and deploy AI-powered automation that actually replaces it.
This is a hands-on, build-and-ship role for someone who's comfortable working at the intersection of AI tooling and practical software deployment.
About the Role
We're an early-stage practice helping small and mid-sized businesses (retail, clinics, production houses, service businesses, and more) automate the manual, repetitive parts of running day-to-day operations - client management, follow-ups, internal and external task tracking, invoicing, and reporting. We work directly with business owners to identify what's eating their time, then design and deploy AI-powered automation that actually replaces it.
This is a hands-on, build-and-ship role for someone who's comfortable working at the intersection of AI tooling and practical software deployment.
What You'll Do
- Turn client pain points (surfaced through discovery calls) into automated workflows - for example, auto-following up with leads, syncing task updates across tools, or generating client-ready reports.
- Build and refine interactive prototypes and dashboards using Claude (Artifacts/Claude Code) to demo automation concepts to prospective clients.
- Take validated prototypes into production: connect them to a client's real tools (CRM, calendar, WhatsApp Business, invoicing/POS systems, spreadsheets) via APIs and webhooks.
- Build and maintain automation workflows using no-code/low-code platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar), backed by lightweight databases (Airtable, Supabase, Google Sheets).
- Use the Claude API to add "smart" logic to workflows - drafting replies, summarizing, classifying, generating documents.
- Host and deploy client-facing dashboards (Vercel, Netlify, or similar) and take ownership of ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and fixes once a system is live.
- Work closely with the founder on scoping new automation opportunities and translating operational chaos into a clear, buildable system.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Claude and other AI tools - comfortable building with Claude Artifacts/Claude Code, prompt engineering, and using AI tools to move fast from idea to working prototype.
- Some technical/engineering background - you understand APIs, webhooks, basic backend concepts, and how to actually deploy and host something so it runs reliably outside of a demo environment. You don't need to be a senior engineer, but you should be comfortable being the one who makes a prototype "real."
- Familiarity with (or fast willingness to learn) no-code/low-code automation tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make.
- Working knowledge of front-end basics (HTML/JS, Tailwind CSS, Chart.js) to adapt and ship dashboard-style deliverables.
- Comfortable working independently in an early-stage, evolving environment - this role will involve figuring things out, not following an existing playbook.
- Good communication skills - you may occasionally join client conversations to understand requirements directly.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a startup, consulting, or freelance/contract technical role.
- Experience integrating with common small-business tools (Zoho, HubSpot, WhatsApp Business API, Google Workspace, QuickBooks/Zoho Books, etc.).
- An eye for clean, simple UI/UX - clients should find the tools intuitive, not intimidating.
What We Offer
- Ground-floor role in a new venture - real influence over how the practice's tooling and delivery process is built.
- Direct exposure to a range of industries and business problems, not a single narrow codebase.
