Job summary

Straive in Chennai seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions. The role targets 12-15 years in software engineering with a strong track record of guiding teams and delivering AI-first platforms involving Generative AI, RAG, Lang Graph, OCR/Document AI, and knowledge graphs.

The candidate will own the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, drive Agile practices, and collaborate with product and clients to create scalable AI-driven products.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of software engineering experience.

Role Title : AI Architect (Associate Director/ Director)

Location : Chennai

We are looking for an experienced AI Architect with 12- 15 years of software engineering experience and a strong background in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading engineering teams while architecting AI-powered platforms involving Generative AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Lang Chain/Lang Graph, Agentic AI, OCR/Document AI, Knowledge Graphs, and Intelligent Automation.

Key Responsibilities :

• AI Solution Architecture
• Design scalable AI solutions using modern LLM architectures.
• Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms.
• Design multi-agent AI systems using LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Define enterprise AI reference architectures.
• Build AI-first products for document processing, knowledge management, search, and workflow automation.
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and clients.

Technical Leadership :

• Lead a team of AI Engineers, Software Developers, ML Engineers, and Data Engineers.
• Perform architecture reviews and code reviews.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers.
• Drive Agile engineering practices.
• Own technical roadmap and delivery milestones.

People Leadership :

• Manage a team of 8-20 engineers.
• Mentor Technical Leads and Senior Developers.
• Conduct technical interviews.
• Own engineering excellence.
• Define coding standards.
• Drive innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Business teams.
