Job summary

SkillShip Edutech is seeking an AI and Robotics Trainer to design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in AI, robotics, and related STEM topics for school and college-level students. The role involves planning curricula, creating project-based activities, preparing training materials, and leading interactive classroom and lab sessions.

The trainer will guide students through hands-on experiments, coding exercises, and robotics projects, while assessing progress and providing feedback.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have strong knowledge of AI concepts, machine learning basics, and practical applications for K–12 and undergraduate learners.
• Candidates should have robotics skills, including sensors, microcontrollers, and assembling and programming educational robotics kits.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used in AI/robotics education (Python, C/C++, or block-based coding).
• Ability to plan structured, project-based, hands-on learning modules.
• Clear communication and presentation skills to explain concepts to diverse learners.
• Classroom management and mentoring abilities for inclusive learning environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, robotics, education, or related field is preferred; teaching experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and learning management systems is beneficial.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning curricula, creating project-based learning activities, preparing training materials, and conducting interactive classroom and lab sessions. The trainer will guide students through hands-on experiments, coding exercises, and robotics projects, while assessing their progress and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves collaborating with academic coordinators to align content with SkillShip’s educational standards, maintaining classroom equipment and robotics kits, and documenting student performance and outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Himatnagar.

• Candidates should possess robotics skills, including familiarity with sensors, microcontrollers, and assembling and programming educational robotics kits.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in AI and robotics education (such as Python, C/C++, or block-based coding platforms).
• Candidates should possess lesson planning and instructional design skills, with the ability to create structured, project-based, and hands-on learning modules.
• Candidates should possess clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
• Candidates should possess classroom management and mentoring abilities, including supporting diverse learners and fostering an inclusive, encouraging environment.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, education, or a related field is preferred; prior teaching or training experience in STEM is an advantage.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools, learning management systems, and basic troubleshooting of classroom hardware and software is beneficial.
