Job summary

UNIS is hiring to build practical AI systems that solve real-world logistics and operating challenges. You will work on AI-powered workflows, automations, and agents for 3PL processes, developing APIs and backend services using Python and TypeScript.

You will design LLM applications, retrieval systems, and human-in-the-loop workflows, while deploying and optimizing AI systems for reliability, security, and cost.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications, automations, workflows, or agentic systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, automation, orchestration, or backend development.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or comparable programming technologies.
• Ability to work with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval, tool calling, evaluation, or AI workflow systems.
• Proven ability to deliver practical technology solutions with solid problem solving.

We are hiring AI talent across L1–L6 capability levels, from workflow automation builders to senior agentic systems engineers and enterprise AI architects. You do not need to know your level before applying. We will evaluate your actual experience building, deploying, operating, scaling, and architecting AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI-powered workflows, automations, agents, and operational tools for 3PL and logistics processes.


• Develop APIs, integrations, orchestration, and backend services using technologies such as Python and TypeScript.


• Design LLM applications, retrieval systems, evaluations, tool use, state management, and human-in-the-loop workflows.


• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI systems for reliability, security, scalability, and cost.


• Collaborate with operations, technology, and business teams to identify problems and turn them into practical AI solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications, automations, workflows, or agentic systems.


• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, automation, orchestration, or backend development.


• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or comparable programming technologies.


• Ability to work with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval, tool calling, evaluation, or AI workflow systems.


• Strong problem-solving skills with evidence of delivering practical technology solutions—not simply AI certifications or theoretical knowledge.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience building production-grade AI agents with tools, memory/state, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.


• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, security, and scalable backend systems.


• Experience with RAG, vector databases, model evaluation, prompt engineering, or LLM observability.Experience applying AI to 3PL, logistics, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, or other operational environments.


• Portfolio evidence such as GitHub repositories, code samples, demos, workflow examples, architecture diagrams, technical documentation, or evaluation results.
