Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our sales and marketing efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans, managing franchise networks, and growing our market presence in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the agricultural industry and a proven track record of driving sales and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets across assigned channels.
- Expand franchise networks and build a strong marketing team to support franchise business growth throughout Maharashtra.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, client follow-ups, dealer and distributor coordination, product delivery, and payment collection.
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities with key customers while optimizing trade spend and enhancing product visibility to drive sales and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and train the sales and marketing team to meet business objectives.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture relationships with new franchise partners.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on strategy effectiveness.
- Execute marketing initiatives including client outreach, market expansion efforts, and territory development.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling or expansion.
- Engage with potential clients to establish business relationships and explore collaboration opportunities.
- Support the development of new markets and drive sales through innovative marketing techniques.
- Organize large-scale farmer meetings (melavas) and product demonstrations to boost product awareness and customer engagement.
- Conduct field trials and demonstrations to educate farmers and promote product usage.
- Research emerging cropping regions to identify new markets and develop expansion strategies.
Education
UG: B.Sc in Agriculture; PG: M.Sc in Agriculture or MBA/PGDM in any specialization
