Job summary

Havan Mechanos in Hyderabad seeks an Agriculture Drone Pilot (UAV Operator) for field operations at Gajwel, Telangana. You will pilot drones for precision spraying, perform pre/post-flight checks, plan flights, and ensure safety and compliance.

0–2 years’ drone experience; Remote Pilot Certificate (DGCA) preferred. Freshers with strong simulator skills are welcome. Accommodation and food provided by the company, with hands-on growth opportunities in agritech.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years hands-on drone flying experience in agriculture or multi-rotor drones; freshers with valid certifications welcome.
• Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by DGCA or RPTO certification strongly preferred.
• Good technical understanding of UAV mechanics, battery management, payload calibration, and basic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work outdoors on agricultural fields and be stationed at/relocate to Gajwel.
• Accommodation and food provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Pilot agricultural drones for precision spraying of fertilizers, pesticides, and liquids.
• Perform pre-flight inspections, calibrations, and post-flight maintenance.
• Plan flight routes, map fields, and configure automated spray parameters.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety protocols, and local drone flying guidelines.
• Maintain daily flight logs and report to management; coordinate with farmers and field staff.
• Support field operations at project site in Gajwel.

We are a growing agritech-driven organization based out of Hyderabad, dedicated to modernizing farming through advanced precision agriculture. We deploy cutting-edge agricultural drone technologies to optimize crop health, maximize farm efficiency, and streamline pesticide/fertilizer applications for farming communities.

We are currently looking for skilled and enthusiastic Agriculture Drone Pilots to lead field operations based out of our project site in Gajwel.

Key Responsibilities

• Drone Operations: Safely and efficiently pilot agricultural drones to carry out precision spraying of fertilizers, pesticides, and liquid nutrients across designated farmlands.


• Pre & Post-Flight Checks: Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, equipment calibrations, and routine post-flight clean-ups/maintenance to ensure drones are in optimal working condition.


• Mission Planning: Plan flight routes, map agricultural fields, and configure automated spray parameters according to terrain and crop requirements.


• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and local guidelines for agricultural drone flying.


• Field Reporting: Maintain daily logbooks of flight hours, chemical usage, coverage areas, and equipment performance, reporting directly to the management team.


• Farmer Coordination: Maintain professional communication and coordination with local farmers, agronomists, and field support staff on-site.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 0 to 2+ years of hands-on experience in flying agricultural or multi-rotor drones. (Freshers with valid certifications and strong simulator/hands-on flying skills are welcome to apply).


• Certifications: Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by the DGCA or certification from an authorized RPTO is strongly preferred.


• Skills: Good technical comprehension of UAV mechanics, battery management, payload calibration, and basic troubleshooting.


• Physical Fitness: Willingness to work outdoors in agricultural field environments.


• Location Flexibility: Must be willing to be stationed at/relocate to Gajwel (Accommodation and food will be fully provided by the company).
