HARSH PLACEMENT SERVICES is seeking a Factory Production & Processing Manager for marble and natural stone operations. You will oversee production scheduling, quality assurance, and line polishing across multiple shifts to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Responsibilities include cost control, TPM-driven maintenance, and strong team leadership, with a focus on minimizing waste, optimizing yield, and upholding strict safety standards in a high-demand manufacturing environment.

Formación

• 8–15 years in marble, granite, or natural stone manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of gangsaws, multi-wire cutters, auto-polishing machines, and vacuum resin plants.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mining or Production Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly targets for production stages.
• Minimize raw block wastage and optimize stone yield per cubic meter.
• Enforce inspection standards for slab thickness, surface gloss, epoxy setting, edge squaring, and fissure checks.
• Oversee block procurement, grading, and yard inventory for blocks and slabs.
• Maintain TPM schedules for machines and manage consumables to reduce costs.
• Supervise labor and enforce safety protocols on heavy block handling and machinery.

Key Roles & Core Responsibilities

1. Factory Production & Processing Management

• Production Scheduling: Plan daily, weekly, and monthly targets for block dressing, gangsaw slabbing, tile cutting, epoxy/resin filling, and line polishing.

• Yield Optimization: Minimize raw block wastage during wire sawing and slab cutting; optimize stone yield per cubic meter.

• Quality Assurance: Enforce strict inspection standards for slab thickness, surface gloss levels, epoxy setting, edge squaring, and structural fissure identification.

2. Quarry & Raw Material Coordination

• Block Procurement & Grading: Work closely with quarry heads or import teams to select, grade, and inspect rough marble blocks (checking for hair fractures, color uniformity, and density).

• Inventory Control: Oversee yard management for raw blocks, finished slabs, cut-to-size orders, and waste slurry/chips.

3. Plant Machinery & Maintenance Oversight

• Asset Maintenance: Implement Preventive and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedules for gangsaws, multi-wire machines, automated polishing lines, bridge cutters, and overhead cranes.

• Consumables Management: Track and optimize usage of diamond segments, wire ropes, abrasives, resin/hardener chemicals, and cutting oils to reduce cost per square foot.

4. Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Labor Supervision: Manage plant managers, supervisors, machine operators, and contract labor across multiple shifts.

• EHS & Safety: Enforce safety protocols around heavy block handling, overhead crane operation, slurry dust management, and machine guarding.

5. Operational Cost Control & Reporting

• P&L & Budgeting: Monitor operating expenses (power consumption, diamond segment wear, resin chemical consumption, labor hours) against project budgets.

• MIS & ERP Tracking: Review daily operational reports (Production, Maintenance, Dispatch) and report directly to the General Manager (GM) or Vice President.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

• Experience: 8–15 years in marble, granite, or natural stone manufacturing.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of gangsaws, multi-wire cutters, auto-polishing machines, vacuum resin plants, and stone chemistry (epoxy, polyester resins).

• Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent operational experience.
