Job summary

Career Tree HR Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical/AGL Project Engineer to drive execution of airfield lighting projects at airports. You will review drawings, supervise installation, testing, and commissioning, and ensure work adheres to ICAO, DGCA and airport standards.

The candidate should have 12+ years of experience in AGL or related electrical projects, with the ability to read engineering drawings and coordinate multiple stakeholders. Strong MS Office skills are required.

Job description

1 JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Review and interpret AGL design drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.

2. Provide technical feedback and recommendations on construction drawings and site-related issues.

3. Supervise and monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of AGL systems.

4. Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, project specifications, ICAO, DGCA, and relevant airport standards.

5. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, airport authorities, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution

6. Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

7. Verify quantities, materials, and workmanship at site.

8. Identify construction challenges and provide practical engineering solutions.

9. Review method statements, inspection requests, and quality documentation.

10. Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of milestones.

11. Participate in technical meetings and prepare progress reports for management.

12. Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and project quality standards.

13. To carry out other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.

14. To ensure preparation of MIS Report on monthly basis for all construction activities.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience: 12+ Years

2. Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

3. Strong experience in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) projects in airports.

4. Ability to read, understand, and review engineering drawings independently.

5. Good knowledge of AGL systems, CCRs, transformers, airfield lighting circuits, and associated electrical infrastructure.

6. Expertise in site execution, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning activities.

7. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

8. Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.

9. Ability to manage multiple contractors and site teams effectively.

10. Experience in brownfield or greenfield airport projects.

11. Prior experience representing PMC, consultant, or client-side teams. 12. Familiarity with international airport standards and airside operational requirements
