Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer in Mumbai to prepare and manage 2D/3D CAD drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on BIM workflows, interdisciplinary coordination, and meticulous documentation, with site visits and data collection supporting project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical designs.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and Autodesk Revit is mandatory.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit based on engineering and architectural requirements.
• Develop BIM models and coordinate them across disciplines using Revit.
• Update existing designs and drawings to reflect project changes and revisions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Maintain drawing records and manage version control of all project documentation.
• Assist in project documentation, quantity take-offs, and clash detection (if required).
• Participate in site visits for data collection, verification, or coordination purposes.
• Hand on experience in AGL and electrical designs

Your impact

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer with experience in both AutoCAD and Revit to join our team.
