Qualifications

The Role :

As an Agentic Software Engineer reporting directly to the Chief AI Officer, you’ll rapidly enhance and modernize products across the entire Quoreka portfolio. Our products are systems of record in the commodities world, deeply entrenched in customer workflows; your work will bring them into the AI-enabled future.

It’s also important to understand that this role is scoped broader and more open-ended than usual – and we want someone who prefers it that way. We value quality of work, technical rigor, and the drive to take on hard, ambiguous problems with critical thinking and innovation rather than falling back on conventional frameworks.

What You'll Do -

• Build new user-facing products, from working prototype to production release in days and weeks. You’ll work the full stack, from data model and services through to the interface, and iterate with product managers, designers, and customers on direction and scope.
• Modernize our established products, front‑end and the services behind them, to drive new sales and customer retention.
• Extend our products with AI‑native capabilities such as MCP servers – so customers can use their own agents to unlock data in the Quoreka platform.
• Establish the AI‑SDLC workflows, test harnesses, and review steps that hold quality steady at agentic pace – and own the result end to end, from design to release.

What We're Looking For -

Must Haves

• Strong fundamentals, first and foremost. You write clean, maintainable, production‑grade code, and you have the judgment to steer an agent’s output toward the right architecture.
• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in at least one agentic coding tool (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot).
• Comfortable working up and down the stack. Our teams span many languages and frameworks, so you’ll need curiosity and a demonstrated aptitude for steering coding agents through ones you haven’t used before.
• Energized by working across teams to share and learn best practices, particularly with GenAI and coding agents.

How You Might Stand Out

• Front‑end / full‑stack experience building user‑facing applications. You’ve shipped in Node/TypeScript with React or Angular, Python, or modern desktop frameworks such as Electron or Tauri.
• Familiarity with enterprise stacks: Java, Microsoft .NET, RDBMS (MSSQL, Oracle).
• Design sensibility: you’ve built interfaces that non‑technical users enjoy using.
• You’ve already shipped LLM‑powered features and MCP servers to production.
• Experience in financial services, trading, or commodity/energy markets.
