Job summary

Capco, a Wipro company, is a global technology and management consulting firm focused on banking, financial services and energy. We are seeking a senior AI/ML architect to lead end-to-end designs, from problem framing to deployment, across multi-agent systems and secure cloud architectures.

You will work with product teams, cloud engineers and AI governance to set standards, implement AIDLC stages, and deliver scalable, observable solutions for international clients.

Qualifications

• Architecture: distributed systems, secure cloud architecture.
• Agentic AI: LLM, RAG, agentic patterns.
• Security: banking-grade access control, audit trails, risk management.
• AIDLC: stages, gates, governance checkpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design from business problem to target architecture, integration and deployment blueprint.
• Design single and multi-agent workflows, tool calling, memory, retrieval and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Define security, resilience, latency, cost, observability and scalability requirements.
• Select models, cloud services, vector search and frameworks; assess build versus buy.
• Set standards and guardrails, review designs, and partner with product, cloud and AI governance.
• Embed AIDLC in design: stage gates, governance checkpoints and architecture decision records.

• Security (banking-critical): Least-privilege tool access; prompt-injection defence; approval gates for risky actions; audit trails, model risk and residency.
• AIDLC (mandatory): Defines AIDLC stages and gates; evaluation and release criteria; governance checkpoints; architecture decision records.
