Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Architect to define the technical direction for Agentic AI on AWS, architecting secure, scalable multi-agent systems and advising customer executives. Location is Chennai, India, with hands-on leadership in engineering and strategy.

You’ll design scalable architectures, build POCs, influence senior stakeholders, and guide RAG/vector DB deployments into production, shaping AWS GenAI roadmap as the voice of the customer.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software/architecture with 5+ years in production AI systems.
• Deep AWS expertise (Bedrock, SageMaker, AgentCore) and strong Python/TypeScript skills.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure Agentic AI systems on AWS with multi-agent orchestration.
• Build POCs and reference architectures hands-on (Python, LangGraph, AutoGen).
• Advise C-level stakeholders and shape GTM strategy.
• Lead RAG and vector database implementations into production.
• Influence AWS GenAI roadmap as the voice of the customer.

We're looking for a Senior Architect to define the technical direction for Agentic AI on AWS — architecting secure, scalable multi-agent systems and acting as a trusted advisor to customer executives. You'll combine deep hands‑on engineering with strategic influence to move initiatives from proof‑of‑concept to production.

You’ll do:

• Architect scalable, secure Agentic AI systems on AWS (multi‑agent orchestration, tool use, guardrails)
• Build POCs and reference architectures hands‑on (Python, LangGraph, AutoGen)
• Advise C‑level stakeholders and shape Go‑To‑Market strategy
• Lead RAG and vector database implementations into production
• Influence AWS's GenAI/Agentic roadmap as the voice of the customer
