Job summary
Zensar Technologies in Maharashtra, India invites a Senior DevOps Engineer to own enterprise CI/CD platforms and drive automation across Azure DevOps and GitHub.
You will champion Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, support AKS and on‑prem environments, enforce DevSecOps practices, and promote FinOps awareness while collaborating with development, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with ownership of enterprise CI/CD platforms.
- Deep experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub, including pipeline design, automation, repository governance, branching strategies, and release management.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and experience supporting Azure-hosted and on-premises environments.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, compliance controls, IAM/RBAC, and governance within CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: PowerShell, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience supporting containerized workloads and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, observability, and operational support of DevOps platforms.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and interest in applying AI/automation to DevOps workflows.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization (FinOps) concepts and cost-aware engineering practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with development, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams.
