Job summary

Commergence in India is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for AEM who will architect and build solutions on AEM Sites and Assets, and lead cloud migration initiatives to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). You will work directly with customers to match business problems to technology, and mentor the team.

The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Java, AEM, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and CI/CD, and will guide deployments, content and asset migrations, and demos for customers

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AEM Sites and Assets and cloud migration.
• Experience with AEMaaCS architecture and cloud-native development.
• Hands-on experience with AEM Cloud Manager and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to guide customers and migrations from on-prem/AMS to cloud.

Position Summary

This team is responsible for working directly with customers and prospects to match business problems to technology, providing technical skills on the ground with customers and alongside partners as well as evangelizing the value of Adobe’s vast array of technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop solutions for product/project & sustenance delivery.
• Build solutions on top of AEM Sites and Assets.
• Lead and support migration initiatives from AEM On-Premise/AMS environments to AEM as a Cloud Service

(AEMaaCS) for both Sites and Assets.

• Design and implement scalable cloud-native architectures aligned with Adobe best practices for AEM Cloud Service.
• Drive content, asset, and code migration activities including repository restructuring, dispatcher modernization, and

integration remediation.

• Optimize AEM Sites and Assets implementations for cloud scalability, performance, and security.
• Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of AEM Core platform and integrate with other systems.
• Handle demos and POCs for customers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the team.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, JSTL, Spring and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of AEM Sites, Assets, Sling Models, OSGi services and HTL.
• Strong understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service architecture and cloud-native development practices.
• Hands-on experience with AEM Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployments.
• Experience migrating from AEM 6.x/AMS to AEMaaCS including dispatcher conversion and repository

modernization.

• Experience with AEM Sites migration strategies including editable templates and headless delivery.
• Experience with AEM Assets migration, Dynamic Media integrations, asset metadata management and bulk asset

migration.

• Knowledge of Content Transfer Tool (CTT), Repository Modernizer and Cloud Acceleration Manager.
