Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an AEM Frontend Developer to join our Bangalore/Mumbai team with hybrid work flexibility. You will build responsive web experiences, create and deliver AEM components, and ensure accessibility and performance across platforms.

You should have 7+ years of experience, strong HTL/Sightly and AEM expertise, and proficiency in modern JS frameworks. Certification in Adobe Experience Manager is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including delivery of enterprise, responsive websites.
• Strong hands-on experience developing front-end solutions using AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Proficiency in HTL/Sightly, AEM Client Libraries, AEM Core Components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end component development within Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience with at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, and the ability to apply frameworks within an AEM architecture.
• Adobe Experience Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web experiences using semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript within the AEM ecosystem.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
• Implement component markup, client libraries, dialogs, authoring states, content models, and reusable patterns using HTL/Sightly and AEM Core Components.
• Translate UX/UI specifications into reusable, documented components that align with Labcorp brand standards.
• Build and test for WCAG accessibility with keyboard navigation, ARIA, color contrast and assistive technologies.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page weight, asset loading, rendering, caching, images, fonts, and JavaScript execution.
• Support analytics, tagging, experimentation, and personalization in partnership with analytics and Adobe platform teams.
• Support estimation, sprint delivery, production validation, monitoring, troubleshooting during deployment windows.
• Maintain component documentation, coding standards, and knowledge-transfer artifacts.

Job Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain responsive web experiences using semantic HTML, modern CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and approved frameworks and libraries within the AEM ecosystem. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
• AEM Component Delivery: Partner with AEM developers to implement component markup, client libraries, dialogs, authoring states, content models, and reusable presentation patterns using HTL/Sightly and AEM Core Components.
• Design System: Translate UX/UI specifications into reusable, documented components that align with Labcorp brand standards and support consistent experiences across business areas.
• Accessibility: Build and test to WCAG standards using semantic structure, keyboard navigation, focus management, ARIA where appropriate, color contrast, and assistive-technology validation.
• Performance: Optimize Core Web Vitals, page weight, asset loading, rendering, caching, images, fonts, and JavaScript execution to improve customer experience and search performance.
• Analytics & Personalization: Implement approved data-layer, tagging, experimentation, and personalization requirements in partnership with analytics and Adobe platform teams.
• Release & Operations: Support estimation, sprint delivery, production validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and corrective actions during approved deployment windows.
• Documentation & Transition: Maintain component documentation, coding standards, support notes, and knowledge-transfer artifacts; participate in agency shadow and reverse-shadow activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 or more years of software development experience, including delivery of enterprise, responsive websites.
• Strong hands-on experience developing front-end solutions using AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Proficiency in HTL/Sightly, AEM Client Libraries, AEM Core Components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end component development within Adobe Experience Manager.
• Hands-on experience developing front-end capabilities in AEM using HTL/Sightly, client libraries, Core Components, and component-based design patterns.
• Experience with at least one modern framework or library such as React, Angular, or Vue, and the ability to apply frameworks selectively within an AEM architecture.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, SEO fundamentals, web performance, Core Web Vitals, and debugging tools.
• Adobe Experience Manager certification
• Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics, tag management, personalization, and experimentation.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, and headless or hybrid AEM implementation patterns. Working knowledge of Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, and Maven
• Experience with high-traffic, regulated, healthcare, or multi-brand websites.
