Job summary

CodeIgniter India is seeking an experienced AEM Development Lead with 8+ years of hands-on experience to design scalable AEM solutions and lead development teams.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, mentor engineers, and oversee deployments, upgrades, and performance improvements across enterprise-grade AEM environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong AEM expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AEM 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Strong knowledge of Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, CRX/DE, HTL (Sightly), and Maven.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade AEM solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to AEM development teams.
• Develop and customize AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, services, and OSGi configurations.
• Work with AEM Sites, Assets (DAM), Sling, OSGi, JCR, CRX/DE, and Dispatcher.
• Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable AEM architectures.
• Integrate AEM with enterprise applications using REST APIs and web services.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development and coding best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, scalability, and production support.
• Support AEM deployments, upgrades, migrations, and environment management.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Experience with AEM Sites, AEM Assets/DAM, REST APIs, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and automated deployments.


• Experience with AEM migrations, upgrades, and production support.


• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.


• Prior experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
